Large Koru. Fused glass by Roz Speirs.
Welcome to the November newsletter.
It’s the time of year when thoughts turn to summer and, inevitably, to Christmas.
Not everyone can afford to lust after four-figure works of art, but if you make a decision soon you can put it on layby and pay it off over the coming weeks.
For more modest art gifts, the gallery has a wide range of prints and cards.
Fantail on Flax. Print by Leigh Dougherty, $60.
Print by Paul Deacon, $65.
Check out the extensive display of cards, $6, or $5 each for four or more.

News from members
Virginia Watson
Virginia has been working on some whimsical Christmas cheer.
“The idea for these was 'hatched' out at Rabbit Island, as a weka was trying to make off with my stuff,” says Virginia.
The originals are on the wall in the gallery, along with a limited number of prints at $59 and cards as well.
Nicole Russell
Nicole is also getting into the Christmas spirit with these cards, which will be in the gallery soon, along with a variety of other Yuletide themes.
Coming up
The gallery is looking great right now, but keep calling in, as there’s a steady turnover of stock and our monthly dance, when all the members take on different wall spaces, is coming up in less than two weeks.
